Back to the roots

How different can children be in terms of culinary tastes!...Lili has never been a fruit & veg' eater, the only items reaching her stomach (sometimes) are brocoli, cucumber, apple (raw but not cooked), potatoes, satsumas, melon, mushrooms (on a good day)...

Pretty shadows

We braved the icy weather again today, for a little walk around Stora Skuggan - literally, "the big shadow" - near Universtitetet. Much more invigorating and pretty than Christmas shopping with three kids... The light was amazing, even though it declined...

Vårfesten

Today was Lili's school Vårfest or Spring fête. We went there together with one of Lilis friends. Lots of exciting stuff was on offer: cakes and sweets, colourful displays and fun games, but also a "ghost tunnel" and face-painting. Lili declined the latter...

At the Opera

What a week! Tonight, it was at the Royal Opera that Lili could be seen, enjoying a sneaky drink of bubbly...apple lemonade! It was the Ballet School's 30th Jubileum performance - a series of pieces performed by the students for their end of year show....
