Otto was the only one not to try the infamous couvre-chef - he simply refused to be seen in such attire, apparently...Verdict? Lili is probably the winner, the most likely to keep it on her head for more than a few seconds anyway.More to come, probably....

This is a bit of a prototype...I wanted to try out a pattern for a cap (New York bus-driver type) that I could then make for each child. I had some thick Marimekko canvas/cotton material left from when I had made cushions for the kitchen bench Pete built...

Oh la la, this dress has taken me ages to make! I don't know why but I seem to have accumulated mistakes throughout the whole process: cut the fabric wrong, assembled the zip upside-down, cut two identical sides of the collar instead of them facing one-another,...

I love being given flowers! Probably because it's the next best thing instead of growing my own...I was given a very pretty bouquet by Pete and Otto last weekend, a wonderful mix of what seemed like field flowers and garden lisanthiums, all in the shades...

Full house again today - with the slight challenge of having to cook lunch for a friend who happens to be the head cook for the Nobel Banquet...gloops, but who is thankfully very enthusiastic and open-minded ;-) But the big plus of the day was the change...

Today we had a full house, as our friends Pete, Anna, Oscar, Tor and Disa-Lill came round for lunch and stayed until supper! We did venture outside for a bit, to run around and breathe some fresh air even though the sky was grey and the air felt cold...
