Julmarknad
We could not let the festive season pass without visiting at least one Christmas market! Our favourite Julmarknad being Skansen's, we hopped on a tram and got ourselves ready to meet the crowds that usually gather on the main square during the last Advent...

Pretty shadows

Pretty shadows
We braved the icy weather again today, for a little walk around Stora Skuggan - literally, "the big shadow" - near Universtitetet. Much more invigorating and pretty than Christmas shopping with three kids... The light was amazing, even though it declined...

December lights

December lights
It's still very cold and dark outside, so we thought we'd bring warmth and light into our lounge with a beautiful Christmas tree. Lili, Poppy and Otto got very excited when Pete came back with it on Monday evening and could not resist decorating it straight...

Back to the roots
How different can children be in terms of culinary tastes!...Lili has never been a fruit & veg' eater, the only items reaching her stomach (sometimes) are brocoli, cucumber, apple (raw but not cooked), potatoes, satsumas, melon, mushrooms (on a good day)...

Snow white

Snow white
More snow, more ice, temperature below -10, but we still went out. To Rosendals trädgården, where we warmed up with piping hot soup. Fantastic light, beautiful snow-covered trees. We all had red cheeks and cold feet (Otto did not like that at all...)...
