To keep Lili and Pops happy, just like Roman emperors used to do it with their people, we have found that two ingredients could do the trick: fresh French bread every morning and one outing to the circus...It does work;-) - and in the process, we parents...

Wild life!

Wild life!
Who would have thought that Normandie was so full of exotic animals? We have encountered many species during our escapades to St Aubain le Cauf and Cleres. Lots of discoveries for Lili and plenty of opportunities for Pops to practise walking...

The good thing about living by the sea is that you can go to the beach whenever you want, even for a quick dip and to collect a couple of pretty shells. We are certainly making the most of it!

Poppy had been practising all sorts of ways of moving forward over the last few weeks. It is now official: she can crawl!!!!This is really good news as this means she can discover lots of things by herself - she has already proceeded to empty cupboards,...

La mer!

La mer!
After a week of not so great weather, we have finally been able to go to the beach!!! - those pictures were taken on a cloudy morning but since then things have improved a lot, with blue sky and sunshine! There will be more!

Pops shuffles

Pops shuffles
For the last few days, Poppy has been perfecting the "bum-shuffling" technique - which Lili had mastered before her, until she decided to walk! This is great, as it means our Pops can feel more and more autonomous and go for the things that catch her...

Plump

Plump
Weight gain control today at the health centre for babies - Otto has gained over a kilo since birth (4.92 on the scales!) and added an amazing 5cm in length (which confirms our impression that they must have got it slightly wrong to start with...) !!!...
