Quite unexpected: Pete and I had the luxury of spending one whole day in Paris... without the trolls! Thanks to Grand-mère and Grand-père who offered to look after them, we could get on a train and enjoy a splendid day, just the two of us, in the capital!...

Beasts of sorts

Beasts of sorts
It's like summer here and after all the leaves and flowers, it is the turn of animals and insects to come out! Our cats are happily climbing up our apple trees, deers regularly visit our garden, even vipers and funny green beetles. A lot to discover!

Another layer
When the snowstorm stops and the sun comes out, snow is very photogenic! Big boots, ski-gear and hats are necessary but well worth the trouble once in the forest! Beautiful! And more snow is falling now, more scheduled for the next few days...

Cosy cats
It is winter for cats too... even though they are not going out yet, Flash and Basil are enjoying the cosiness of their woolly pod, the thick sheepskin or the view from the top of the fire place. We are smitten in our kittens.

A good coat
...of snow, finally! Good timing as this is half-term break. Otto has tried our local ski slopes with Peter and they are planning a sneaky trip to Romme, in Dalarna, to ski even more at the weekend.
